To implement the national and municipal policies on expanding support for consumer goods recycling and replacement, and in accordance with the National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance's Notice on Expanding the Scope of Large-scale Equipment Replacement and Consumer Goods Recycling and Replacement in 2025 (發(fā)改環(huán)資〔2025〕13號(hào)), and the Ministry of Commerce and other four departments' Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Implementation of the Home Appliances Recycling and Replacement Program in 2025 (商辦流通函〔2025〕6號(hào)), and the Ministry of Commerce and other six departments' Notice on Doing a Good Job in the Implementation of the Home Improvement Kitchen and Bathroom "Renewal" Program in 2025 (商辦消費(fèi)函〔2025〕29號(hào)), Shanghai is further strengthening its support for subsidies for home appliances, home decoration materials, and home goods.

Subsidy Scope

The city offers subsidies for seven categories of products: appliances, decoration materials, sanitary ware, furniture and lighting, smart home, home aging adaptation, and home textiles.

Appliances

Steam oven, electric heater (including fan heater), induction cooktop, air purifier, printer, dryer (including washing-drying set), vacuum cleaner, floor cleaner, coffee machine, robot vacuum cleaner, projector, digital camera, digital camera, smart speaker, fitness mirror, smart glasses, gaming console, monitor, and more.

Decoration Materials

Sink, security door, paint, tiles, flooring, wooden (movable) doors, finished windows, ceiling, water management system, full-home customized cabinets (cabinets), and more.

Sanitary Ware

Dragon and phoenix showerhead (including shower column), toilet, washbasin (including cabinet), mirror cabinet, bathtub, shower room, bathroom hardware, and more.

Furniture and Lighting

Tables and chairs, cabinets, sofas, massage chairs, bed frames, mattresses, lighting, and more.

Smart Home

Smart toilet cover, smart curtains, smart door lock, electric clothes drying rack, and more.

Home Aging Adaptation

Ground and door renovation, bedroom renovation, toilet and bathing equipment renovation, kitchen equipment renovation, physical environment renovation, smart assistive products, and more.

Home Textiles

Curtains, carpet, soft mattress, bedding, and more.

Subsidy Standards

Consumers purchasing products in the above categories are eligible for a subsidy of 15% of the sales price for decoration materials, sanitary ware, furniture and lighting, smart home, and home textiles. For home aging adaptation products, the subsidy is 30% of the sales price. Each payment channel can receive a maximum subsidy of 2000 yuan. For payment channels participating in both online and offline activities, the subsidy limits for online and offline activities are calculated separately.

Consumers can enjoy instant subsidies through payment service agencies when purchasing products in the above categories.
