On July 8th, the event "Seeking Design Industry Influencers and Cover Stars - City Salon" took place in Xi'an, focusing on the theme of “Little Things, Big Impact”. The session was graced by the presence of Gao Kaining, the Design Director of Xi'an Gexin Building Decoration Design Co., Ltd., who was also invited for an exclusive interview with Sina Home. During the interview, Gao Kaining elaborated on his core philosophy of “Design for People”, emphasizing the significance of meticulous attention to detail. He pointed out that details in design are evident in two aspects: The exquisite handling of functionality and domestication, from spatial shaping, choice of home appliances, switches, hardware to storage planning, all need to be tailored to the real usage habits and personalized needs of the owners, opposing the monotonous “showroom” style. The integration of art, aesthetics, and exquisite craftsmanship to enhance the depth and experience of the space. Gao Kaining strongly agrees with the salon's theme of “Little Things, Big Impact”. He believes that designers should be fully committed to every project, focusing on every detail. The design challenges in small spaces can better reflect professionalism and attitude. The value of design does not lie in the scale of the project, but in the appreciation and meticulous finishing of each project.
